As part of the new TAC events, Mission Robotics is an exciting full-day program designed to provide middle schoolers with insight into High School Robotics. Participants learn how FRC (First Robotics Competition) works and explore the current game prompt. They then learn to CAD different mechanical designs with Onshape, a common tool used in High School teams. Participants then learn to use Java and WPILIB to program the XRP Minibots, which are specifically designed to replicate programming an actual robot. Finally, the day ends with a fun competition and a robot-demo.
